It's not just any old oil you know! This lubricating oil is the only grade of oil recommended by Mamod Ltd for working parts. Without the correct oil, the effect of heat and steam can cause oil emulsification leading to a rapid breakdown in surface protection. Now, it's not the end of the world if that happens, but it will place additional burden upon your pocket as you buy a new piston assembly in a couple of months! You have been advised............And look at that cute little squirty bottle. Great for aiming at the piston assembly when your engine is running at full speed (and getting a nice oil line on the ceiling!).
