MAMOD SE2 STATIONARY ENGINE RENOVATED #814

This Mamod SE2 engine is recently renovated. The engine frame and the flywheel are colour customised gloss black to create that distinctive individual appearance. Whilst there may be others with this colour scheme, we have not seen any!

It's a great little engine, and you can see, it sports the rather rare (and expensive) old style brass whistle that will annoy the neighbours nicely. We like the speed control throttle to achieve some realistic slow running.

Just be aware, the firebox never does stay pristine owing to the 300 -400 degrees of the flames. The boiler band was not changed for the same reason.

In our opinion, with proper adult supervision, this engine would be just right for that little lad who you would like to get "into steam"! We are not selling this as a faithfully-restored-back-to-original-condition but something that is of much greater everyday value. It can be fired up as many times as you like and will probably still be running in another 30 years time. Name any other "toy" that you can say that for with any certainty .... eh?

So, be the first to buy this (there is only one so you'd have to be first ....) high value economically priceD fully working live steam engine from the '60's. Toot-toot-toot - it goes like the clappers. Brass burner included.
