This item is the right part for all Traction Engines/ Steam Rollers/ Steam Wagons/Cars etc. plus the old MM2 & SP3 Meccano type engines with the silver grey frame.
These things do wear out when you've given your engine a bashing or the wear of the passing years takes its toll. Here's a clue to help you decide if you need a new one; there is steam and water everywhere - the wife tells you to put it away - and it hardly turns over.
Distance from cylinder face end to centre of steam hole is 3.5mm and to the trunion threaded hole centre is 14mm. Length of the fully extended piston from cylinder block to the hole for the crankshaft is: 31.60mm. The overall cylinder length is 38.5mm.
