The steam pipe needs no soldering to the boiler because a union with O ring is used.

This type has the integral chimney and smoke box already attached.

You will need to buy the MAMOD UNION FOR BOILER STEAM PIPE found at:  (HEX-UNION-NUT) 

This eliminates the need for soldering at this point.
