MAMOD TE1/TE1A STEERING FORKS

This steering fork assembly may look a bit complicated to fit, but no, once started, the task becomes very easy indeed. Basicaly it simply spins into place and is finally tightened just enough to provide some adequate resistance to keep the front wheels steady when the  Traction Engine, or the Steam Wagon is runnng along the ground. You do need to have the nut and spring in place at the Smoke Box base to tighten it.
