What happened to Mamod Ltd? 

Mamod Ltd., a well-known British manufacturer of live steam models, unfortunately closed down in 2024.

The company was founded in Birmingham in 1937 by Geoffrey Malins, and the name “Mamod” is a combination of "Malins Models".

Over the years, Mamod produced a variety of steam-powered models, including stationary engines, road rollers, traction engines, steam wagons, and locomotives.
