Produced in green powder coated finish. This type requires a boiler pipe union nut to attach the steam pipe.

MAMOD TE1A BRASS BOILER
TRACTION ENGINE
Sight Glass Assembly fitted.
Mamod Ltd produced this type of boiler for their kit product but it is now available here only as a stand-alone boiler.
It is the only boiler that is powder coated black and so can be used with the standard Traction Engine colour scheme.
The steam-out pipe will need no soldering. The connection is acheived using this Union Knurled Nut (KNURLED NUT & 0 RING)

MAMOD SIGHT GLASS BRASS SURROUND
One - brand new from Mamod Ltd.
For your Mamod engine repair project.
This is needed if your old brass surround is damaged.
This generally happens when drilling out the rivets.
MAMOD SIGHT GLASS GASKET
The only type produced by Mamod for all Sight Glass fitted boilers........................
You will receive :
2 off 3mm x 8mm copper closed end rivets
2 off brass screws
1 off perspex "glass" window
1 off rubber type gasket.
This Sight Glass Seal Kit is the cheapest way to repair/ renovate your Water Level Sight Glass. Basically, if you don't need the brass surround, you can save yourself some money compared with the full assembly price.
MAMOD SIGHT GLASS WINDOW
We'd like to charge less but the Mamod trade price sets the retail price.
When running your engine it is good practice to keep an eye on the water level - so you are not caught out by a dry boiler and a melted sight glass window.
This "retro" water level plug...... 3/16 BSW thread.
- Mamod 2 lever, bull horns, water level plug
- 3/16th BSW screw thread
- For the older model Mamod SE2 and SE3 engines using the 3/16 bsw* threaded plug.
Please make sure you don't need the 3/16th BSF thread!
