Washers For Mamod Engines

If you have a 3/8" Safety Valve you will also need our set of three for that size.

Here you can buy these washers:

1. One for the Safety Valve 'O' ring that fits under the release shaft.
2. One for a Water Level Plug - if fitted on your boiler.
3. Two that are fitted at the base of the Safety Valve and the Whistle - if fitted on your boiler.

Tip:  The 'O' ring is fitted by rolling it over the round head of the shaft - perserve and be patient - it will go on. But do not use anything slightly sharp as the ring will break before it is fitted.

This set is not suitable for Mamod SE3 steam engines or any using a 3/8th inch diameter Safety Valve.
